CMH Lyon, a practical immersive approach to hotel management…
As part of their CMH curriculum and in order to support our students across all our campuses in their professional development, we offer them several immersive experiences in hotels, luxury hotels, events, and other establishments in the industry. The primary objective of these immersive experiences is to put into practice what they have learned during their training, but also and above all to promote their employability within the constantly evolving hotel, tourism, and luxury industries.
In addition to the SIRHA trade show, which our students from the Lyon campus had the opportunity to discover last January, they were also able to immerse themselves in a historic company specializing in chocolate, Maison VOISIN.
Immersion in Lyon’s chocolate-making expertise!
This immersive tour of the production workshops and offices was an opportunity to go behind the scenes at this exceptional company and, above all, to understand how it manages to maintain its success in the face of renowned competitors such as Sève, Bouillet, and Bernachon.
The tour began with discussions with the master chocolatiers, which allowed our students to address key questions:
- How does VOISIN manage to combine tradition, innovation, and sustainability
- What strategies are in place to stand out in a sector where artisanal excellence is a major challenge?
This enriching experience gave CMH Lyon students a better understanding of the challenges and keys to success for a historic company in constant evolution.
